Insurance Information

Lilac City Pediatrics accepts most health insurance plans. You can tell if we are a participant in a particular program by checking out their website. If not, call us and ask!

  • · Insurance is confusing to us, and we deal with it every day. We don’t know every detail of your insurance – you may need to call your insurance yourself to solve it – the number is on the back of your insurance card.
  • · Please don’t yell at us if your insurance is making you pay or is yanking you around – but it is OK to yell at them.
  • · It will often take several phone calls to your insurance company to get the right answer or get them to solve your problem.
  • · As a courtesy to you, we will submit any claims to your insurance company. Please bring your insurance card to your appointment as it contains the information necessary for us to bill.
  • · Keep in mind that all insurance policies are different and that ultimately, it is your responsibility to know whether or not you have a co-pay, a deductible, a co-insurance or a combination of any of the above.
  • · Your Co-pay is due at the time of the service; we are not allowed to bill for co-pays. This is part of your contractual obligation with your insurance company: It is their rule, not ours. We can get in trouble if we don’t collect your co-pay.
  • · Please note that unfortunately we are not providers for Tricare or military insurance.
    • · If you really think that your insurance has treated you unfairly, you can file a complaint with the NH Insurance Commission.

If you have questions or billing concerns, after you have contacted your insurance company, please call us during regular business hours and we will be happy to do what we can to help you.
